You can became our Reseller by accepting General Reseller Conditions. If you are interested to Resell or Distribute our products, feel free to contact us.
6. What material is StationBox® made from?
StationBox® is made from UV stabilized ABS plastic. StationBox® is fully weather resistant. Please find more on our corporate website www.rfelements.com in section Technologies.
7. Is StationBox® water proof?
StationBox® is not literally waterproof, but it is designed to resist rain, snow and heavy storm. The main reason why the box is not marked as 100% waterproof is the small leakage hole on the bottom site of the box, designed to allow condensed atmospheric humidity leave the box.
8. Does StationBox® fulfill IP rating for water resistance?
StationBox® does not complain to IP65 rating regarding water and dust resistance. The idea how the box is designed includes ability to breath - to leak condensed air humidity through small leakage hole on the bottom side of the box, therefore the box is not fully closed and sealed against pressure from all sides. StationBox is designed to resist heavy rains, storms, ice and snow, quick changes of temperature and humidity. The only condition StationBox® is not designed, is to be placed literally underwater, therefore if you really need an perfectly sealed IP65 box, this product is not ideal solution for you.
9. Can I use the StationBox® for internal installations?
Although the StationBox® is designed for outdoor installations, you can use it also for internal installations without any problem.
